Back in the Game is committed to promoting accessibility and sustainability in sports by providing high-quality, affordable, and gently-used sports gear and apparel.

Our purpose is to empower individuals and families to participate in sports without financial barriers while reducing environmental waste through the reuse and recycling of sporting equipment.

By fostering a sense of community and encouraging sustainable practices, we aim to inspire active lifestyles and environmental responsibility in Beaver County and beyond.

Vision

What we hope to become in the next 5-10 years is a local staple that unites all athletic efforts in Beaver County.

From hosting tournaments for children and adults, to providing affordable apparel and equipment for athletes and parents, to giving scholarship opportunities for young athletes to chase their dreams, Back in the Game will be there.

How It Works

At Back in the Game, we acquire sports apparel, equipment, and gear then re-sell them to individuals, families, and teams for an affordable price.

MEMORABILIA/COLLECTIBLES

For the avid fans and collectors out there, we also sell sports memorabilia we find along the way to help bring them the attention they deserve! Each of our items are unique, and most are rare finds, to help collectors broaden their memorabilia assortment. They may not be worth millions (or they might be), but each item has a story to tell that makes for a perfect fit puzzle piece addition in your collection.

Meet John

It's important to know exactly who you're supporting and working with—so let me introduce myself!

I'm John Horvath Jr., and sports have been a part of my life from day one, thanks to incredible parents who instilled in me a deep love for the game. My journey began in Beaver Falls, PA, with tee-ball, followed by backyard hockey on an ice rink my dad built for us. That passion carried me through college baseball in Ohio, where I played every intramural sport I could. Today, I stay actively involved through coaching and adult recreational leagues.

Sports are challenging. Sports are exciting. Sports can be frustrating, but above all, they are fun. They are my passion—and I believe they should be accessible to everyone, without limitations.

Now, I’m on a mission to reshape the sports landscape in Beaver County, creating better opportunities for both kids and adults to get involved. I hope you'll join me in getting Back in the Game!
